It was tough to settle down and pay attention in church today. The sermon was very good, but the rest of the service was tough to put up with. In the afternoon Debbie and I went to the PGA Southern California golf course parking for the "Community Connection." It is a Summer block party that the City and our local Rotary Club put on. They have several of these block parties through out the city. We, the Kiwanis, gave out free cherry snow cones. It was pretty fun to socialize and relax. We didn't get a big crowd. After that we went to the Loma Linda BMC for a AA Speaker meeting and meet a friend there. It was 9:00 PM when it ended so we went to Red Robin for dinner.

Tonight I have my CLAD class at UCR. That class is boring as hell. I just feel like sleeping while the teacher lectures. I'm pretty pissed off that I have to go. The heck with it, I'll make the best of it.

Just goofing off at the Fourth of July fireworks.

The fireworks at Stewart Park last night for the Fourth of July celebration. Debbie, Britty and I went down to the park and helped at the Kiwanis Club booth. We sold Cotton Candy, Snowcones and Candy! We all had a funtime, and I think Debbie might join Kiwanis. I'm the club Vice President, BTW.

I am sure lucky.

Today Debbie and Britty are coming home, after being gone for 10 days on vacation. I really missed both of them being here. I'm glad they had a goodtime, but enough already and hurry home.

I went to an open AA meeting at the Loma Linda University Medical Centers Behavioral Medical Center. I went with a close friend that's been having some trouble lately. I'm glad that I was able to help him and it helped me too. It was a speaker meeting and both speakers had a great pitch. I've decided to start going back to this meeting every Saturday for the Summer. I used to go to this meeting with some other friends from my home meeting. I also used to go with my Dad to this meeting. I went to dinner afterwards and we talked about the meeting.
